Same shoer for
years. He has a tendency to fit the shoes closer
around the heels than I would prefer. What I think is not quite enough
support for the back quarters. We talk about it now and
then. OTOH He is presently finishing the 5th season on my
current endurance horse. In all that time the horse has never taken a
lame step, never stumbles, never interferes, never lost a shoe. Strides out
well enough to be efficient and get a BC now and then. This horse is
well down the list of endurance horses with pretty much the same
results He gets along with all the horses, does a great job of first
trims and shoes for youngsters, and even some that other shoers can't deal
with.. So why should I care that the shoes don't exactly as I think they
should? I'm sure I'm going to leave well enough alone and let him do
whatever he wants with her shoes.
