That movie was called "The Miracle Of The White Horses." I'm a little
behind in reading my ridecamp digests, so I'm sure someone has already said
this.
There is an excellent Lipizzan group here in the US--the Tempel
Lipizzaners, based just north of Chicago. I've seen them perform a couple
times and also have been to their facility. They are truly awesome...no
comparison to the other US groups. When they do a capriole, the horse is
literally higher than a man. Also, a bit of trivia, if you've seen the
movie "Hair", the two mounted policemen at the beginning were riding Tempel
Lipizzaners...the black one was named Maestoso Prima
