I was told Jan was just practicing her flying dismount. I've learned a lot from Jan. She's a great mentor. If I ever say or do something right when it comes to endurance I probably learned it from Jan. If it's not too smart I probably thought that one up on my own. I stopped down to Jan's last Wed. with some of my dumb newbe horse questions. She gave me a cup of coffee, a few pieces of hot pumkin pie right out of the oven, and answered all my questions. I remember stopping down once and she was baking Apple pie. She made 11 Apple pies in one afternoon. I had to keep thinking of more horse question so I could stay there and eat pie. Why do I ride endurance? I do for the Pie! When I found a great mentor like Jan who makes great pie I had to ride a few rides so she wouldn't get suspicious. If anyone has got any good horse question, let my know. I need one to ask Jan tomarrow. I just heard she made a Lemon Meringue Pie.
