My dad passes last weekend, and today is his burial... I think I will read this, but wanted to give the author credit... the snow is falling today it is cold and brisk... most of Dad's ashes will be placed in the ground, some will be spread upon his best buddies grave, his dog, and some will ride with me like the wind, when I ride... Dad raised Polish Arabian horses for years, my love for horses started, when Dad first loved a horse... He took me on many trailrides... Helped me to be brave, smart and Safe... What a dad... his name is Donald Soderberg, of Soderberg Arabians.. if any of you Arab riders see that your horses have Back Street in them, Dad owned Back Street, Or Farina, or LuDon's something or other, I think that was their name they put on the horse first, I will have to ask again... thank you for sharing this poem with us today... Dad is now soaring with the Eagles and riding free on an Arabian Stallion somewhere...
