[RC] 25s vs 50s - Ridecamp GuestPlease Reply to: Rob Losey jrlosey@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ========================================== 25s vs 50s, I sure have read a lot on this. Yes I'm new to the sport. I'm 50 years old, worn out, riding a young mule and started without a clue. I've done three 25s and I'm proud of it. I don't need an award to feel proud. It's just someting inside between me and my mule. This feeling inside shouldn't take anything away from the other riders who have done so much more. The argument seem to stem from LD rider calling themself endurance riders, as though this take something away from the bragging rights of the 50 riders. For those who are bothered, I'm sorry. While proud of my acomplishment, I admire yours and hope to join you on a 50 someday. You don't need to call me an endurance rider, If it make you feel better you can just call me, "The old duff on the mule". If your one of the many 50 mile riders who welcomed me on your trail and made me feel a part of the sport you love, Thank You. If your a endurance rider who feel that my 25s some how take something away from you acomplishment or bragging rights, sorry. You just are someone who needs more recognition. I can do that. :-) Your wonderful riders, with fit horses and you're pretty too. I hope this makes you feel better. "The old duff on a mule" Rob P.S. The best riders I've mee don't have to brag. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
