RE: [RC] Nourishment - heidiWhat kind of nourishment do you, as an endurance rider, eat and drink during the ride in order to keep from falling out? Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thank-you Guzzle water in the 24 hours pre-ride and during the ride. Milk, milk, and more milk. Fruit--grapes, watermelon, nectarines, bananas, whatever. Potato salad. Cold chicken. Tuna sandwiches. Pudding. Granola bars--my favorites are chocolate chip, but I don't turn down other flavors. Hard candy. Half-strength grapefruit juice. My hubby is one of those who can go all day without eating--but not me!
