then...last the poor ole 100 mile people get theirs. What happens is that
the T-shirts or whatever are all so picked over that the people that have worked
the hardest, have the most to be proud of...gets the least. And if you
don't think so, and you haven't ever done a 100 or 50, just do one and see how
you feel..."
I really agree with this and so far I'm ridden 25 and 30s, or just been a
crew member so watched awards presentations. It may seem best to save the
best placings for last but I do believe the 1st place 100 miler should receive
first recognition at the awards presentation. Then the rest of the 100
milers followed by first 50 and so on down the line. The longer distance
winners should have first pick of prizes and sizes. If I am the very last
place rider in a 25 or 30 I should have last pick of the completion
awards.
