she simply expressed a differing opinion. “This is a shame to ME.” (emphasis mine). Nope,
nothing in that statement says anything bad about Dr. Melissa Ribley.

Maybe if you knew Melissa
better you would not think it was such a shame that she has an opinion
that differs from yours. She is one of the most caring and
responsible vets in endurance and yes endurance is defined as 50 miles or more.
If you don't like that definition, maybe enough members will want to change
it. It could happen.....But don't bad mouth someone because she has a
different idea than you do.
