Re: [RC] re: Australian saddles - Chris PausI had an aussie saddle once, a very expensive and well made one. Had it for a year, when i finally gave up and sold it. It seemed to work fine on my gelding until I did a 50mile ride and then he had horrible saddle sores on his back. I had UTIs the whole time I had that saddle. When i sold it and got a different saddle, they went away. I didn't put 2 and 2 together until after I had a different saddle for a few months and realized I hadn't had to go to the doctor for awhile! I'm not sure what caused it... maybe the overgirth?
