Using pads, equitotics, plastic shoes, etc and then having to Bute
the horse later is closer to abuse than good horsemanship. I expect this
little note to stir things up a bit. HA-HA
Are you assuming that we bute later because we use pads, boots, etc. when
we ride? You are wrong. If a ride has roads with rocks measuring 2
to 2-1/2" and more, as do some Oregon logging roads, it's protection from
stone bruises to pad or boot before a ride. When I condition in the winter
I have to use logging roads - no choice. I put Easy Boots over the
shoes. My mare never needs Bute. Did you post this to deliberately
start trouble?
