[RC] to the really "slow learner" - Dreamweaverhaving been involved in and managing endurance rides (not= riding) for the last 10 yrs, Yeah, sure you have. Were you just not paying attention during that time? You never noticed that a sound horse is a sound horse and a lame horse is a lame horse regardless of what is on it's feet? So in 10 years you never got a clue that the reason people use protective gear on their horses is so that they can keep them sound? This includes shoes, boots, saddles, tack, etc. In the last 10 years most endurance riders have learned better ways to manage their horses so that they don't need to drug them. You really should try to keep up. Karen in NV =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
