Re: [RC] First Aid Training should be added to our horse training? - Carol SuggsI agree regarding the sanatary pads, I have them in the trailer, in my first aid kit, in my saddle bags, they are great! Also carry duct tape. It is a miracle product. Can be used to mend tack and even tape on a boot or tape up a hoof that has lost its shoe. When I broke my leg at home my husband had to bring the truck to the arena to take me to the hospital and he made a splint out of digorno pizza boxes, oversized magazines and duct tape. Bless his heart, my leg was busted right at the knee so it dangled anyway, but his make shift splint helped!
