THEY don't help us keep horse trails either!!
i often ride at a state park near here. there are few rules there.
1-is don't take your horses in the lake as children swim there. 2-is stay
off the dam, there is a nice trail that goes around. guess where people
like to gallop their horses after they wade out into the lake for a drink?
the dam? you're right. the rangers have said if it doesn't stop they
will close the lake trail to all riders and yes, these are pleasure
riders.
another thing that bugs the corn out of me is to see
the trash they drop. they carried it in it should be easier to carry it
out as the cans, bags, etc. are now empty.
LOL and one more. i think i'm the only one at
this place that will pick up my horse droppings at the trailer and scatter
them in the woods. while i don't guess it's necessary seems like the thing
to do so the next parker won't have to walk in them.

Man does not have the only memory, The animals remember, The earth
remembers, The stones remember, If you know how to listen, they will tell
you many things.
I've encountered a few rude endurance riders since I started this in
1997, but frankly I've come across more rudness from just pleasure trail
riders.. people drinking beer and galloping through camp, in between trailers
where horses are tied, yeehawwing up and down hillsides, etc.
