[RC] Oro's officially my horse now ! - Cat ^. .^ ~Hi ~I bought Oro on Tuesday and got all of the registration papers transferred yesterday at the Arab registry. Said it will be posted on the web site next week. The owners having had Oro for 15 years lost his registration papers, so I had to get duplicates of those and then also pay for the registration. But that was a little thing as everything is all official now. I am so tickled. He is now at a nice boarding facility about 2 miles from home and he is doing very well so far. He is in a smaller turn out area until the horses/mules that have been there for a while get used to him. There is one horse there who has a reputation for being aggressive. Hope that works out okay. But he is free to come in and out of night-time run and has lots of room. I have been trail riding every morning with him for about 2-3 hours. It is fun going in different directions to see what the area is like. There is a trail near the barn that hooks up to some famous horse trail in AZ (forget the name) ... said I could go all the way to Mexico from Flagstaff, not that I would consider it. That is just way too much of an endurance ride for me. There is a really nice cleaning in the pines near the barn which is circular. Level and has nice soft pine needles.
