[RC] pulled shoe - Ridecamp Guest

I agree with this, simply for the reason that your horse's biomechanics are
dictating (trying to tell you how to shoe him), but the farrier isn't listening.

Sometimes, farriers remove just too much front hoof heel and not enough of the
rear hoof heal, changing the timing of the front and rear hooves' loading and
unloading.

And breakover. Long toes and low heels delay breakover and encourage
interference. Any horse that "clicks" at the walk or trot is improperly shod in
this way.

Meawhile, running the shoe under the heels simply results in heel contraction
and further LTLH configuration--as well as all the lamenesses that arise
therefrom.

Before you can talk about a horse's foot, the very first thing you have to know
are hoof angles and toe lengths. Otherwise, you're working blind.
