[RC] strategy for Irish - CherieIrish has been treated with gastro-gard and placed on red cell for his anemia. He was diagnosed with a severe ulcer and anemia. His food has been switched from sweet feed to pulp and strategy pellets with A.B.C. supplement and oil. He is on pasture 24/7 and has buddied up with another gelding. The only time I have to use a cribbing collar is when he has to be stalled for bad weather or waiting for the farrier. We have already noticed that gastro-gard has made him feel better physically...I can't wait until he is optimal condition as he was a gorgeous stallion several years ago and sired beautiful babies.
