[RC] Experts - Ridecamp GuestPlease Reply to: ti tivers@xxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ========================================== The truth is, in the horse sports area, there are no genuine "experts". And there's only one established Law: What works is real. And all the rest is bullshit. So, your job, and your respnonsibility, as a horse owner or horse trainer, is to select the most logical solutions you can find and TRY them, one at a time. Otherwise, you are paralyzed by conflicting advice from people who think they know it all, but know nothing. You can also benefit from the experiences of others, as long as those experiences are well-documented and complete--and reproducible. That's all science and technology are--reproducibility. As you sort through the thoughts and the regurgitations of others, there is another sorting Law: Confront complexity, seek simplicity, trust clarity. Unfortunately, no one can think for you, and for most, thinking is a very painful experience. So, most seek out instant, attractively-packaged solutions and reap havoc--deservedly so. It is your responsibility to know what you are doing. If you blindly follow the advice of others, you are doomed. If you fail to take action, you are doomed. If you fail to think logically, you are doomed. ti =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
