Re: [RC] motor home advise and about holding tanks............ - Mary Ann Spencer
Had bad experience a while back with holding tanks
in the rear of a class C. WELLLLLLL, some of the driveways in and out of
gas stations in CO were at such a steep angle that the dang tank keep getting
cracked.......use your imagination for the rest of this story. not
fun to fix. I prefer the class A motorhome for this reason.
I just love our 23 foot, class C, Tioga RV. I lucked out
and bought it used from a BCH couple who ordered it from the factory with
the all the towing stuff. The most important thing I have learned is
to pull a bullet nosed trailer, not a flat nosed one. This will avoid
the trailer hitting the back of the RV while backing up or when going over
dips. Avoid a hitch extension as it is one more thing that can break,
however they are not inherently dangerous. The only thing I wish I
had (well maybe my husband wishes) is that loving space slide out. He,
