This has been fun everyone!  And I have a new name for her: B'elanna, 
Bell for short.  It works, it's easy to yell, and I think she likes it.

Hell Bitch is always tempting with mares, though, isn't it? *grin*

Snot was also tempting.... I was thinking of spelling it S'not and 
saying it was a Vulcan name.  But decided ride managers might not get 
it.... not EVERYONE is a Trekkie, as appalling as that may seem.

Princess tickled me, cuz she's so NOT. *giggle*  Unless you think of 
Fiona from Shrek, which was another suggestion.

As for horses living up to their names... it happens.  Not only do they 
live up to their names, they seem to live up to the thought behind the 
name... and I do think this is due to how we think about them and treat 
them.  Thus B'elanna will be opinionated at times, but a good horse to 
have in a tough situation... a true War Mare.

Our mare Nat (Natira) is Nat the Brat, or Nat the Fat Brat, depending 
on how much she's being ridden.  She's been that way since I bought her 
5 years ago.  She certainly wasn't a "Lady" *shudder*  Ladies dont 
always make the best War Mares, but brats usually do! *grin*
