GAA Irish  won Scottsdale as a young horse, I imagine that is why he has an ulcer!!!  To win at halter at that level must have been so stressful for him.  He is bred HOT and those horses are so "sensitive" and can be very hard to keep weight on because of nerves. Give him time to settle in and maybe he will be okay. I am glad you are willing to work with him.  His life must have been stressful for him so far.  As you can probably tell.........I hate Arabian Halter training. 
 
  I'm taking him in today for bloodwork to look for any red flags.  He has put on weight, etc.  Did not look like his pictures when I picked him up!  He has put on 50 pounds and needs to gain 50 more at least.
