[RC] Waiting for the decade team - Kathleen A. Crothers

This is an answer to the gal who wanted to know if laying off a year or so with 
her 6 yr. old horse would undermine her ability to get on the decade team.  My 
horse, Rebel's Foxfire, only had 150 en miles when he was nine and by the time 
he was 17 he had over 3000 miles and 10 seasons of rides.  So hang in there you 
still have lots of time with your horse.   Now I'm hoping to get 10 yrs. with 
my horse, Texas Dually, who was late getting started on his endurance career 
due to getting EPM as a 5 yr. old.  Good luck.  Kathy Crothers
