Re: [RC] NAEC question - rides2farHey, no I didn't write that. That's what Truman wrote. Get your deleting clear. >g< Fortunately, what Truman wrote was OK with me to say. I haven't heard any details at all from the ride but am happy for those who did well, and have empathy for those who had a short day...ESPECIALLY Kathy Brunjes. Man! Kathy got pulled in 2001 with a sound horse. They wouldn't give her another chance but she had to go to the treatment barn to be checked where they proclaimed her horse perfectly sound. This time she finished, and got pulled at the finish line. BUMMER! Can't think of anything to say to make you feel better Kathy, but I feel bad for ya. :-( Haven't heard any stories about the mud up there, but I talked to my sister in CT and when she took her dog out in the yard her foot sunk in the saturated ground and she lost her shoe! She tried to get it out of the mud and it was gone. (It's a new house and the yard was new with sod)Her husband got out there the next day with a shovel and couldn't find it! I can't imagine that a course churned up by that many horses would have been a good situation after the rain New England had. :-P Angie rides2far@xxxxxxxx wrote: Least we forget that the ETZ won two of the three individual metals.
