What are some "fun" awards you have 
> given to those mid-pack finishers?
At the War Eagle ride I finished at the *very* middle of the pack. My
award was a reflector like they put in the middle of the interstate
(they're raised and don't look cheap!) and on top was a little engraved
plaque that said, "Neither fast nor slow, just middle of the road". 
Actually, I won it two years straight. I took mediocrity to new heights.
