[RC] Electro-braid - Kristi Schaaf

I can't comment on the other brands people have
mentioned, but I do have Electro-braid and LOVE it. I
use 4 strands for all of my pastures, and also my 1/2
acre paddock. My horses respect it but aren't scared
of it (they will graze the grass under it). It is
virtually maintenance free, very safe, stays the
tightness we set it, and requires no repairs when a
tree falls on it (speaking from experience here - cut
the tree off it and the fence boinged right back into
position). Probably hubby's very favorite part (since
he installed it himself) is that he could put the
fence posts 30' apart (you can go up to 50' if you
don't get snow). That in and of itself is a huge time
and money saver. It comes in black now too, and I use
that in my riding arena (unelectrified of course) to
give a more open feel to the area.
