[RC] Lori's Oregonian Endurance Story - JonniThanks for the link John. Here is my favorite part of the article (a quote)from Julie Suhr: I finished 98 1/2 of those miles. I had to get off of my horse because I felt dizzy. I kept tilting to the left in the saddle. I told my friend to go on and I sat on a rock. I was disappointed that my family and friends weren't going to see me at the finish line. "But I sat there and twisted my horse's forelock between my fingers, tickled her chin and talked to her. It was just me and my horse under the moon. I was very serene." <<< After reading the past few days about a race, very different than our sport here, I wonder how many of those riders take the time to connect with their horse, tell them thank you, and just share a moment like this with them.
