Re: [RC] WEC: Cutoff Times for Vet Gates - DVeritas
Conversion of kmh to mph and distance/speeds required to meet cutoffs.
Just for info:
Loops: 32 km equals 19.8832 miles
32 .............. 19.8832 miles
30 .............. 18.6405 miles
28 .............. 17.3978 miles
19 .............. 11.8056 miles
19 .............. 11.8056 miles
Total 160 km equal a race of 99.409 miles
If the speed used to meet the gates is factored at 12kmh...that's 7.4562 mph.
Should be interesting...the cutoff times seem quite reasonable....again, per the info John has provided.
Good luck to all the horses...may all your hooffalls be sure, your riders tuned in and the aftercare effective and compassionate.
~Frank.
