On my wanderings here in the SE to AERC rides;  I met a very intresting man 
who is friend's with Denny Emerson (who I am sure would also quickly give a 
great character referrence). His name is Irving McNaughten; Irving is 
hauling his horse out to CA from Maine. He is a intresting , and kind , and 
humerous older gentleman.  He is very well know out here and well liked. He 
is going to do Tevis this year and needs a place to stay near tevis with his 
horse, so he can ride and train a bit before hand. I told him I knew many 
people who might be able to help him out....so I am passing this along to 
you with hopes you can help him and or pass on the word...He is real 'Maine' 
character; real down home kind of a person with a kind heart - with LOADS of 
stories to share. Ask him about boiled owls!

I am posting this on ride camp too beacuase I know there are others that 
maight be able to help him.I hope you will seriously consider some way of 
helping him out. Driving all the way from the east coast to do a life dream 
of tevis is a BIG deal to him. If you can help please email me privately as 
he is not on the internet.
