[RC] Crack/Line Hoof - sandy rovane

My horse has a perfect crack line from the coronary band to toe in her hoof. It goes right down the front of the hoof. Doesn't this weaken the wall and what can I do? She is wearing shoes with toe clips and pads. Could this be caused form forging?
