Re: [RC] Pull Codes - Kristen A FisherUnfortunately I think this gets overlooked a lot. Like I said in another post, RMs will emphasize "tell me if you pull" so they are not still looking for you at midnight, but rarely do I hear them emphasize the ROs MUST present to the vets. I didn't know it was required for the first probably 2 years I was riding? I just happened to vet through in case I decided to go back out and not take the RO.Yes, it's something the RMs and the vets should state firmly at the ride mtg. Kristen Kristen, I'm not talking about the "leaving" part--I'm talking about not presenting their horses before they do it. The rules say that the horses WILL be examined afterward, and the riders need to do so, even if they pull. The RMs and vets need to impress on them that this is something that needs to happen as well. If they want to pack up and leave after they present, so be it. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
