Re: [RC] Pull codes: What do we really want and/or need? - Sisu West RanchPersonally, I don't give a monkey's if either my grades or my pulls are published, but judging from the reactions of people who post on ridecamp there are quite a number who do. If there is no affirmative reason to associate a pull code with a particular horse, why do it if it makes some people uncomfortable? This reads on what are the legitamate privacy expectations of members of society? Should a person's health issues be published? Income tax returns? Address? Phone number? Library books checked out? Web sites visited? Number, types, and serial numbers of firearms owned? Different people are sensitive to different degrees and about different things. It is probably a good thing to not publicly post potentially emgarrassing information unless there is a good reason. I see no reason why this forum can not discuss any endurance related topic, even if there are other "more important issues". This topic is apparently important enough to a number of people for them to post on it. If it were truely completely unimportant, no one would bother to post.
