Re: [RC] Epidural Injections - Bruce WearyWell, Mike--If my mule were in the shape you are, I'd just take him out back by the shed and shoot him. ;) You are obviously the exception rather than the rule when it comes to multiple joint trauma and pain. You should be taking glucosamine AND chondroitin sulfate, 2000 milligrams a day. Unless you have allergies to fish, as they are manufactured from shellfish, usually. They do have vegetarian forms now. I would also take hyaluronic acid, as it's good for joints and connective tissue. Coenzyme Q10 is a powerful antioxidant which may help prevent further tissiue breakdown. As long as your joints are stable, meaning they aren't sloppy and loose from torn ligaments, then "activity to tolerance" should be your motto. Additionally, "do no more harm." You probably need a good chiro, personal trainer, orthopedist. and a nutritional consultation. Please make sure you get very qualified people. Having a degree, even being board certified, doesn't mean they have the answers you need. As far as all the medical treatment and surgeries, you're supposed to donate your body to science AFTER you die!
