OK guys, who has an opinion on this. What's the prognosis? Horse is sound, vet thinks that's not so good. Can't palpate any tenderness, no swelling. Been walking on blacktop as per Dr. Waldron's advise for the last several weeks.

In your opinion, what's the prognosis for the 5 y.o. if it is in fact a high suspensory? US will be done next week to confirm Dr. Waldron's suspision. She witnessed the injury and immediatly evaluated the mare.

Everything I read on the net spells doom and gloom.

This is a premature email without US but just wondering if anyone would share their experiences,
