RE: [RC] cost of rides - Nancy MittsThe standard replies you will get are: how many people do you expect at your event? 30 or 40 riders and a couple family members each? Basically you will get an award or 2 from endurance related companies, some bottled water from a local distributor, etc. Sometimes T shirts (usually from a ride manager's family or relative's business).The camp where I held the Pineville Turkey Trot has a "charity ride" for something about every other weekend the entire Spring & Fall. The local businesses are pretty tapped out. It's fine to think big, but you actually have BE big to get big donations.
