Back to an AHA issue....did you all realise that AHA is about to do 
away  
with Sweepstakes money for CTR and endurance?


Wow, what a relief! I was almost to the point of joining AHA. I bought a
sweepstakes horse, and it did sway me when choosing a horse. They
*almost* got some influence over me, as far as whether I cared if a horse
was registered and wanted to participate in their programs. I feel free
again. :-) and now I'm happy that our unregistered Arab, which is
probably the superior athlete is not at a disadvantage any more. 

I only feel sorry for the people who have paid money into the sweepstakes
system to promote their endurance stallions & foals. I think they have
grounds for a lawsuit or a refund.
