Re: [RC] WORKING STUDENT - Steph E CaldwellChris Paus wrote:I hope you find a good place. I'd give my right arm for a good working student, but so far, it hasn't worked out. The students have shown up once or twice and never come back again, missed appointments, etc. I've given up on that. I guess what they really wanted was free horse rides. With a disabled husband, things are falling apart around here. I could really use the help around the farm and help keeping 4 horses ridden, colts worked, etc. But I've found paying students to be far more reliable about showing up and keeping appointments. Oh Chris... Please don't judge all of us by a few bad apples. I'm a working student, have been for five months now. I took 5 days off, but other than those 5 days (I got hurt and couldn't work) I've been there everyday scheduled and pitched in other days. I love what I learn, and a big part of being a professional is learning the dedication to go when you don't want to... If you were closer, I would love to come over and help out, but NC is a far little piece from you!
