[RC] Moving to michigan and looking for riding partners - Karen CasemierJessica, I live SE of Grand Rapids and primarily train at Yankee Springs and Ionia State Park, the two areas Jeanie mentioned. I would be happy to meet you at either of these places on a regular basis for training rides (my husband is a full time vet student and doesn't have time to ride as often as I would like). I'm also hoping to try out the trails at Fort Custer in Battle Creek, which would be very close to you - I think they have three full 8-mile loop trails there. Yet another option is the Allegan State Game Area - I have a new friend who rides there and I'll be trying out the trails there soon. I have the trails at Yankee Springs memorized - they are great for conditioning as they have lots of hills and are very technical. Ionia is better for developing a rythm and has some good spots for some long canters (but also has some hills and can be rocky), so I like to alternate between the two.Let me know when you get here! Always looking for a pal to ride with. kcrazzmatazz@xxxxxxxxxxx =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
