Re: [RC] Late Arrive of Endurance News - TypeF \(Jackie Floyd\)Having to mail from the West Coast (vs. being mailed from the MidWest where distance is shorter going to both coasts) is a big pain for books/magazines as they are mailed as "Periodicals." It's supposed to be 7-10 days but who knows what the post office does with them. I received my September issue of EN over the 3-day holiday weekend. But then, I only live two hours from the AERC office. You can't blame the AERC office for the post office delivery times. If AERC were to pay the difference in postage it would take to get out of the Periodicals class, they could EASILY add $36.00/year to your membership fee. The other solution is to change the cover date and be like the Big Boys on the newstand. Same inside info but two months difference. Right now, we are finalizing the "November" issue of Sports Market Report here at Type F, which will hit newsstands Oct. 1, but won't get to subscribers until at least October 20th. :) Jackie ----- Original Message ----- From: "Carolyn Loedeman" <tawasentha@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <carolyn@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>; "Ridecamp" <ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, September 07, 2005 6:53 AM Subject: Re: [RC] Late Arrive of Endurance News And you are complaining, I just got my EN for August yesterday!!
