Hi Tina,
	I agree with you that what the center of the country lacks in weather 
and scenery (unless you like flat), it more than makes up for by the 
kindness and good nature of the people!  I too now live in NoCal where 
it's everyone for themselves.  I lived in Oklahoma before coming here 
and I'll take Okies any day if I'm in a jam.  They, like most 
midwesterners and mountain westerners know how important looking out for 
each other is.
