[RC] U.S. made trucks - JonniI live in a smaller town (5000 population) where there are more trucks than cars. And these folks USE their trucks to farm and ranch. Not many pretty boy trucks like I used to see when I lived in CA that never knew what it was to haul a load...well maybe a bag of designer dog food once and awhile . And what you also will not see, are many non American cars...... and just try to find a Toyota truck!!! I think in many rural areas, it is not if the truck can "do the job", but many still have that strong feeling towards buying American, and keeping profits in American companies. I know that many of our "American trucks" are made in Mexico, and that many "foreign" cars are made in US factories....but the good ol' boys still look at that name on the side, and some folks will just not see it any other way. I don't see the Toyota trucks becoming a popular choice in our area, that's for sure. We have three of the larger new car dealerships in our part of No. Texas....Ford, GM and Dodge.......That is what they drive.
