Re: [RC] NATRC CTR and AERC Endurance - Jo Ann KnightSurgery is November so should be able to get around by Feb. Knee replacement. Sheba needs injections, infusions, of lactated ringers and I would feel better with her kenneled in her vets home. The vet for Sheba works from her home and so I know Sheba will have 24hr care, someone around. Small mobile practice and very dedicated. The big plus is Sheba really likes her. Sheba is getting touchy about the injections and not sure I could turn that over to a pet sitter, even a vet tech, and feel I'd come home to a live cat, or an unscathed sitter! The injections are what keeps her alive now. Arrgh. I know I've seen info on both. And I'm thinking they're at the same time, Feb. 25 rings a bell as one of the days. I sure hope your surgery goes well - as for your cat, do you have a pet sitter available that can give shots? I know cats really prefer to stay home if they can, we've had great luck with pet sitters that are also vet techs. As far as San Antonio, Davy Crockett will have nothing on us. grinning here, Carla =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
