[RC] East Bay ride is open to everyone! - Ridecamp GuestPlease Reply to: Nick Warhol nwarhol@xxxxxxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ========================================== Hi everyone in the West region- Due to the name of the East Bay ride on the AERC site and Endurance news there has been some confusion about qualifications. It's just a regular old 25 and 50 mile ride that anyone can enter. We also have the 10 or 15 mile fun ride for absolute beginners. The AHA championship title only refers to people who belong to the AHA and want to compete in a special division open only to them. The international title only refers to the group that sponsors the ride- Pacific South International Endurance. Anyone can come, and we encourage beginners who have never done an endurance ride. Come to the event with your horse and you will leave with enough experience to enter a ride. We have Special gues speakers Julie Suhr and Becky Hart back this year for another special session with beginners. I'm also always looking for workers and volenteers who are interested in getting involved with endurance riding. You can email me at nwarhol at comcast dot net.
