Automatic, 6 cyl diesel. The newest ones are very quiet and have robust trannies. Those Allisons I looked very hard at but went with the Dodge (and it's my only vehicle).In Dabney's defense: where they currently live has the entrance-from- hell for an LQ or even my 4h gn w/dressing rooom. From a narrow two lane twisty road, it's almost a hairpin to swing wide and then through their gate. Or going back out. Dabney, if you can handle it, get a standard cab. SO much more manueverable, U turns in the left turning lane even! Lynne my gooseneck mantra, "swing wide, and when in doubt, take it slow..."
