FW: [RC] TWH's Bit/Bridle - Lee TowneI've ridden my TWH in a Parelli rope haler and hackamore also for over a year with no problems. If working on gaits I may use a bit. When working on endurance or just pleasure riding, I leave him wide open. He was 5 in April. -----Original Message----- From: ridecamp-owner@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:ridecamp-owner@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Ridecamp Guest Sent: Monday, August 22, 2005 8:54 AM To: ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [RC] TWH's and ring snaffles Please Reply to: Ray O'Donohue rno2m@xxxxxxxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ========================================== Of course you can-in the old days they often were.(Not to get the Great Bit Debate going-I guess that thing is over and done with ,thank God.) But TWH's are candidates for any and all the various bits/hackamores,etc,just like any other horse with a thinking owner should be. The "Tennesse Gag" thing is "sort of "a new phenomenon, and I was pleased to see them in use on two Thorobreds at a recent "jumping" event. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
