[RC] Stocking Up Non-exercise related - DreamWeaverI've checked the archives but can't find the help I need. I have an 18 month old colt who is in a 25' x 50' paddock. Both of his rear legs are completely full (stocked up). I can't figure the cause or what to do to relieve the problem. The only thing that has been different in the past week was that he was wormed with Ivermectin. How can I fix this? I turned him out on pasture today thinking movement might help. Thanks, BobBob -- Over the years, I have had that happen to two different horses. The panacur purge took care of that. I now do it on all of my horses once a year, and that doesn't happen anymore when they get regularly wormed. Karen here is a link with more information: http://www.equinenet.org/ernet/worms.html I buy it here, for about $104 http://www.valleyvet.com/ct_detail.html?pgguid=30e0766b-7b6a-11d5-a192-00b0d0204ae5 and it will do multiple horses with the 5 day x2 doses, with enough left over to use for a regular one dose worming =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
