However, it does not in any way address the original (completely unsubstantiated) claim that: AmericanFlex and OrthoFlex Delrin-panel systems are manufactured/mounted the same, AND that "many are breaking or are to weak." As far as taking a "risk" to do a 50-miler on a saddle, you would have to take that risk on any type of new or newly modified saddle, be it treed, treeless or flex-panel. Any type of saddle can cause loin soreness on a horse if it does not fit properly, especially with a heavyweight, tired or unbalanced rider.
