Given the current state of our culture in which rudeness and
aggressiveness prevail, I'd be concerned about posting such a sign for fear
that it would only invite "target shooters" -- wondering just how close they
could tailgate without hitting the horses. Or worse, how about those
with the "Oh yeah? Well, my timetable doesn't include waiting on the
safety of any #*$# horses, so zoom-crash, here I come." (i.e.,
Don't tell ME what to do.)
We need to remember that there are many drivers on the road who have no
intention of practicing reciprocal common courtesy or common sense. I'm
finding it safer to keep a low profile and try to stay out of compromising
conditions--when possible.

Does
anyone know where to find a sign to post on the back of my trailer that
says," I travel at a speed that is safe for my horses. When able, I will
pull over."
I saw it on the back of someone's horse trailer and would
love to put one on the back of my trailer. Cyndee
