Tom, I'm writing to ask if you can do us a favor
here at The Long Riders' Guild?
A month ago we received word about an equestrian
travel fraud of staggering dimensions.
I've spent the last four weeks talking to various
law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, working with a lot of
other investigative journalists, and interviewing a string of victims that
reaches from Florida to Montana.
What we uncovered is the biggest, and cruelest,
Long Rider fraud in modern history.
But what makes it even worse is the fact that the
man who pretended to be a Long Rider also posed as a Christian cowboy
too.
The damage he caused is just hard to
believe.
However, we have published an editorial about our
findings.
That editorial is now being run on the front page
of the massive Horse City.com equestrian website.
The reason I am writing, Tom, is to ask if you
could pass on the word about this equestrian outlaw to all The Guild's friends
in the endurance riding community over at Ride Camp?
