I had a horse fall on me in 1987....broke 4 ribs.  I spent 5 days in the 
hospital.  Don't think my lung was punctured, but there was a slight leak. 
It took awhile to heal the ribs, but I don't even think about it now.  I'm 
as good as I ever was.
