Hi folks,

My husband and I are thinking about heading east to do this ride, if we can get the week off. Can anyone tell me about it? What are the trails like? Rocky? Sandy? Amount of hoof protection needed? Our horses are shod...is that adequate? How difficult are the trails? Hilly, flat, etc.? I'm trying to determine the number of days my horse could do...he's just getting started in 50s (done 3 so far).
