[RC] LD Readiness- A very short story - Vchorsegal
I had a smart & feisty mare that I broke in my pasture ( I had
no arena at the time ) and rode 5 times in my neighborhood in rural Texas for a
few miles. Her 6th ride was an LD in Poetry Texas. She got through
it fine, in about 5 hours ( flat ride ) She didn't steer worth a darn- but I
needed a mount. I don't recommend this method as a trainer, though !
